Apple fined for “misleading” 4G claims in Australia

According to recent reports, Australia takes 4G mobile broadband very seriously. It also does not tolerate Apple saying that its newest version of the infamous iPad was 4G-enabled when it wasn’t compatible with any 4G network in the country. Virgin Media’s new Companion App is a new feature that allows Tivo users across the UK to access their system through the iPad. Tivo customers will be able to browse the programme guide and set recordings while away from home.
