It is estimated that UK households waste hundreds of pounds per year on TV, broadband and phone packages.
A report from the Post Office shows that families in particular who buy bundle deals do not watch all of the channels provided, buy more broadband that they need and have free calls they do not use.

Zen Internet is planning on a £4m network upgrade to meet demands for faster broadband.
Founder and managing director Richard Tang hopes for revenues to exceed £50 million in 2013.
Zen Internet is currently offering free installation to new and existing customers.

Plusnet will soon get rid of its monthly download limits and offer its customers unlimited broadband access.
Plusnet’s home broadband packages caps downloading to a certain limit but from this week, existing and new customers on the basic deal can upgrade to an unlimited service for an extra £4 a month.
As most people are using data-heavy services such as BBC iPlayer much more often, it is a smart move towards making internet connection more accessible.

Everyone who is interested in Sky’s recent rather fetching promotion which includes half a year of free unlimited broadband and inclusive evening and weekend calls along with a £25 M&S (Marks and Spencer) voucher has an extra month to grab the deal (voucher promo ends this month, the free broadband part runs until September 27th).

Good news comes to Sky customers as the provider has started offering faster FTTC speeds – those reach to 76Mbps as opposed to the standard FTTC service which gives customers access to speeds of up to 40Mbps (unlimited allowance).
