The UK’s leading think tank Policy Exchange has reported that access to the internet for everyone is more important than the current project of supplying cities with superfast broadband. According to the estimate, 10.8m people are not online with half of them over the age of 65. A new service was today launched to boost broadband service in notspots across Norfolk and parts of Suffolk. ITSwisp was designed by InTouch Systems, a Norwich IT provider. This Wi-Fi technology means that homes and businesses that use it do not need a phone line because the whole system is based on radio wave transmission.
